Here’s our best advice for new agents starting out in the industry.

Are you starting in the real estate industry? Finding your footing can be tough, so we’re speaking with our lead sales manager, Ken Hyman, about what new agents can do to find success early in their careers.

Looking back, Ken wishes he had a better savings account when he started as an agent. That way, he would have had more time to be laser-focused on his business without worrying about money. Ken also would have hired a mentor as soon as possible to help him make the most of his time.

“We’ve helped countless agents find their footing. ”

Real estate is a long game at the end of the day. Many agents burn out within the first month or two, but there’s a learning curve to being an agent just like anything else. Once you get over that initial hump, things get a lot easier.

Ken thought he could work solo when he first started, but in reality, he needed guidance. We’ve seen this in action at our office. Many new agents joined with almost zero production. Within a year of guidance and mentorship, they ended up doing 20 or more deals in a year.
